History often tends to suffer from many biasness including survivorship bias ! 

Failures often deleted could be more informative than Success stories, yet the later is often covered..

Apart from the observed history, there also possibly exist unobserved history not often taken into account leading to misleading results at times...! Future is more likely Complex !
